A year 1 microbiology student of Uniben suffered an attack while reading in one of the RCCG Churches in Edo State
The unfortunate incident occurred a few days back. According to witness around the area, the security of the church went to collect the key from the church key- keeper on that fateful day, when he entered the church to discover the almost lifeless body of Vera Uwaila Omozuwa in a pool of her own blood, the terrified man ran out and went back to the key keeper to narrate what he saw in the church as he could not even touch the bleeding victim.
On getting back to the church the security and the key keeper tried to help the poor lady and observed she is still breathing that was when she weakly informed them that she was raped and smashed on the head with a fire extinguisher
she was rushed to the intensive care unit but she lost the battle for her life to the cold hands of death how tragic!!.
The deceased friends and family have been requesting that her death be brought to justice. And
a lot of people have taken to twitter to express sympathy and demand justice for the deceased.
